Fall Time Update

Can you all believe that it's already fall? Time really needs to slow down. It seems like I was away from home more than I slept in my own bed this summer but I have so many great memories and I got to meet some wonderful people this year. I'm so looking forward to the holiday season and all it's going to bring. I've got to spend a lot of time with my family and friends and I'm learning new stuff all the time. I went duck hunting this morning and that was a lot of fun and I've gotten to go on different boats and learn all about planes as my daughter practices for her pilots license. My life is so full and I can't help but smile about it. Lots of new books are also coming your way. As the weather changes make sure you are prepared and driving safe. And thank you all as always for allowing me to live my dreams through creating stories. If it wasn't for you I couldn't do what I love so much. I truly do love you!!

Summers End

Summer has come and gone! Phoenix is almost finished with becoming a pilot and going back to school in a week for her second year at University of Oregon. Johnathan has begun his senior year of high school and I'm still working away. It's been a great summer with vacations, work and lots of family and friend time. Now, I'm getting ready for the winter and looking forward to the holidays. I am watching my niece grow and having so much fun with the kids. I am so blessed to have you all in my life and I have some new and exciting series coming out that I hope you will all enjoy. I think the rest of this year and the beginning of next will hold some fun adventures. I hope to see many of you in California in a couple weeks for the book signing, and I'm looking forward to posting my new signing schedule for the rest of the year. Thanks as always for all of your support.

Fun with Friends and Family

Wow!! Summer has come and gone. I can't believe it's already almost the end of the first week of August. It will all go by so dang fast too. Last weekend I had so much fun!! I was with family and friends for a 3 day Country Music Weekend with Eric Church, Justin Moore, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Chris Young and more!! It was awesome performances and we danced so much that my legs are killing me now. I am back in the writing lab and then off to another music weekend in a week. It's been nonstop running but so much fun too!! I will be bummed when the clouds come in and we don't get to play outside anymore. It gets cold here in the winter but at least we don't normally get snow. Phoenix is trucking along with getting her Pilot's license. I am so proud of her!! John is revving up for his senior year of high school and my nephews are doing wonderful. My newest niece is growing like a weed!! It feels like she was just born and she's going on 3 months already. I get to spend time with friends this weekend so that's always wonderful. I hope you are all having an amazing summer. Soon, we prepare for the holidays!!

RWA...Getting Closer!

Only a week to go until RWA! I'm so excited to come down there and meet with some new people. It's going to be hotter than hot, but I will survive thanks to air conditioning. I've been plugging away with edits and can't wait for you all to meet the Whitmans. I've had fun with this new family, and some guest appearances from some of the Andersons in the books. We had a fun water/nerf war last Friday. I think the girls won, but the guys are emphatic that they won. We'll let them think so. I hope you are all enjoying your summer outings. I've been working outside. I can't make myself stay inside right now. The weather is just too beautiful to ever be inside!! I'm looking forward to the country concerts that are coming up. I'll have lots of pics for you all!! I can't wait to meet Blake Shelton. That man is amazing. Stay safe and enjoy your families!

Nice Weather...Good Times

Wow!! Summer is coming and will be gone before I know it. I had a really fun couple of weeks. I got to go to an EMS baseball game and hang out with friends which was a blast. There's nothing like good baseball, where we won in the 11th inning, beer and hotdogs. I also had a fun game of poker, where I got my butt kicked, but that was okay, cause I laughed so hard that night, my stomach hurt.
Been home a lot doing edits for "Her hometown hero" which is always difficult to do when it's beautiful out and I'd rather be in a water war with the kids, but I'm surviving it. I just bring my computer outside, blast the country tunes, and work until the sun goes down and beyond. It's looking to be a beautiful summer, and I can't wait for the concerts to begin!! I've decided that summer should just last for at least 6 months cause it makes me so dang happy. Hope you all have great vacation plans. I would love to hear about them!!

Time Flies...

Wow!! I can't believe summer is already here. Phoenix has finished up her first year at University of Oregon and has officially moved back home for the summer, though I think I'll see her less now because she has taken a love of flying and will be living at the airport. John is almost done with his Junior year of high school, so Senior year hear we come!! That will be an adventure. I have lots of family and friends plans this summer, including camping, water and nerf gun wars, game nights, bbq's, and bonfires. I love the summer. Of course, there will be much lake activity. I love my job because I can write while sitting at a picnic table, and hearing the sounds of my nephew and honorary nieces laughing. I am blessed with a great family and great friends, and summer will come and go in the blink of an eye.

There are exciting things coming in the bookworld, and I can't wait to get the new series out and wrap up the Andersons though I will miss Joseph. I am sure he'll keep popping up because you all know what a meddler he is.

I hope you all have safe and happy travels and I can't wait to see all the pics you all post. It's so much fun to see so many smiles!!

It's almost summer time and I always get excited this time of year because it means so much more of outdoor activities. When you live in Oregon and it rains all the time, it's exciting to actually get outside and feel the sun shining down again. I have so much to be thankful for. I have my new contract with Pocket Books, and my first book with them will be hitting shelves on October 28th!! Don't forget to pre-order your copy of "Baby it's Cold Outside".

I also have some new books up for pre-order, and I'm working on finishing the Anderson series. I don't know what the next adventures are going to be but I'm working on a New Adult series that has me in tears sometimes as I'm writing it.

I have a new niece who was born a couple days ago and she is the most beautiful baby in the universe. She may get just a tiny bit spoiled. My daughter is almost finished with her first year of college and it will be so nice to have her home for the summer. My son is finishing his Junior year of high school so next year plans to be a busy one!! I love busy though. It makes the long winter nights much more entertaining.

I loved RT this year, and got to meet so many wonderful people. I am really looking forward to RWA in Texas. Never been there before and I am determined to ride a mechanical bull. Let's see if I can last 8 seconds!! Thanks as always for all your continued support. You make me love my job!! I love you all!!!
