Christmas Time

Oh my gosh, it's almost Christmas!! Yahoo!! This is my absolute favorite time of the year. It's the 9th of December and I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping. That's definitely a first. I'm normally scrambling to finish up on the 23rd of December. My goal is to be all done by the 15th this year. I can do it. That is if I can get away from my computer long enough to do it. I'm so excited about how this year has gone. Thank you as always for all the love you've given me and all the support for the newest releases. It's been another adventurous year. I'm going to be going to several places this upcoming year. I'll post in the next blog the dates I'll be signing. I'll be in Hawaii in Feb, and in Maryland and Vegas in April and San Diego in July. I'll get you those dates and times real soon. So excited. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

It's almost Thanksgiving, and you know what that means? It means Christmas decorations, and music and hours of Hallmark channel movies! Yea!! I'm working hard to finish my deadlines by the end of the first week in December so I can take a few weeks to focus solely on Christmas and being with my family and friends. I love this time of year. It's magical. I have a Christmas re-release coming out on November 30th. Safe in his arms. I love that story because it has the holidays in it. There's just so much you can do with Mistletoe and mischievous elves and Santa. I'm also working on a new series for Montlake that has very sexy pilots who are definitely on Santa's naughty list. Isn't that the way we want them?

The family is doing amazing. My husband broke his wrist riding a quad with our daughter's boyfriend, but that is getting nice and healed now. I got my first foot rub in over a month this morning, so all is forgiven for him acting like a child. Phoenix has a little over six months and she graduates college, and Johnathan is growing up so fast.

I hope you have a fantastic Thanksgiving, and then we get to all share ideas of what we're doing for Christmas. This is the time of year I really think about those who are so much less fortunate than I am and I hope we can all give back even just a little. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Back from Spain

I'm back from Spain and what a trip it was. It was fast, though getting there took forever, or what seemed like forever. Getting back was even longer, but the actual trip there was great.

I met with Amazon and did Amazon Academy with them. I got to meet such an incredible group of people and some highly talented authors. I am so glad I went. What a beautiful area of Spain I was in. Absolutely spectacular. I got to go on a tour and learn about the history of Spain, and met some more wonderful people. I also got to dip my feet in the Mediterranean Sea which was awesome. I always have to touch the water wherever I go.

There are more adventures coming up very soon. I have a new Pilot series that I'm working on now with very sexy men who can't wait to be tamed. I'm also working on a new erotic romance that has a few twists and turns in it. I've made more progress with my thriller as well. Next year is going to be an exciting year. I can't wait to take the journey with you all!

Fall Update

It's been a while since I've blogged with ya all and I can't believe it's almost Halloween already. Phoenix will be 21. That is just wrong. Time really moves too quickly. John went into basic training for the army at the end of September and I am so glad at how much I miss him. Boys are hard at 18 but he's becoming a man now and one who I know I will be proud to call my son. I am truly blessed with awesome kids. I'm doing my blog from a salon right now. I've been having non stop beauty the last few days. I got fantastic lash extensions yesterday and I keep looking in the mirror. I love them. I've never had lush pretty lashes before. Now I'm getting my hair dyed and cut. My hubby will get a treat from me in sweats and no makeup or hair done. He's used to the Halloween look with it sticking up at all angles in a messy ponytail I slop on my head so I can get to work sooner. Pedicures with my daughter are next.

I do have an exciting announcement to make to you all. I've signed a deal with montlake books!! The first book tentatively titled turbulent intentions will be out around June 2016!!! It's a sexy pilot series. And I'm hoping it makes you all want to join the mile high club :)

I promise to do better with blogging and have some more announcements to make very soon. Take care and happy Halloween!!

Finding Forever is Now Available!

Finding Forever is now available as a stand alone novella!  Previously released as "Once Upon a Dream," part of the diabetes benefit "Sweet Talk" box set.

Whitney Steele loses her sister in the blink of an eye and is caring for her niece and nephew, not knowing how she is going to get through the loss of the most important person in her life.

Liam Felton loses his brother and never gets to say goodbye. Can these two people come together and mend what's been broken? Or will fate take them down a different road altogether?

It's May Already!

It's May already! Where does the time go. Soon, Johnathan will be walking down that aisle never having to look at another high school classroom (unless he decides to be a teacher, which I don't see happening) And Phoenix will only have one more year of college left in another 5 weeks. My beautiful niece, the newest addition to our family is going to turn one in 2 more weeks. I need to just stop time! I hate how fast it goes. On a positive note though, it also means that conference season is back in full swing. I leave for Dallas in a few days and then I'm going to San Francisco in a month and then New York, Denver... I will have to post all the dates and signings. I'll get that to you all soon. I'm excited to meet more of you and I learn so much at conferences. I'm looking forward to spending time with family and friends at the lake and having lots of campfires. Let the summer begin!

Monday, April 6, 2015

Hello everyone. I'm so sorry it's been a while since I've been on here. I've been keeping very busy, and that keeps me out of trouble. I hope you all had an amazing Easter weekend with friends and family. I love the holidays though I take every chance I can to spend time with the ones I love, so I like to make up my own holidays, such as "Auntie Mel fun day" :)

I have so many new releases coming out this year, which is exciting. I love the positive feedback I've received on my new "Hero" series which came out with Simon and Schuester. Thank you all so much! The Forbidden series has it's final installment coming out next month, and so much more. Yes, the Andersons will complete their saga this year as well. Though, you all know that when I say it will be completed, that only means until I have another idea to bring them all back. I just can't seem to let go of my Andersons.

The kiddos are doing amazing. Phoenix is about done with her 2nd year of college and we're all excited about John graduating high school this year. The nephews and nieces are all in high spirits as the sun comes out and we get to play outside more. I'm looking forward to being on the water this year.

Can't wait to meet some of you I've only gotten to talk to online so far when I venture to Europe next week. Eeek, can't believe it's only a week away. The travel season has begun.

Take care of each other and I'll talk to you all real soon.

I am so excited to share the ad that comes out in People magazine at the end of February!!
